Privacy policy

• The test stays in your browser. We receive your answers only if you order the report.
• Your scores are written into the result link, so anyone you send it to can see them.
• We count visits with Umami, without cookies. There are no ads, and we sell no data.
• For a paid report, your answers are deleted after 180 days, or straight away if you ask.

Your answers

While you take the test, your answers are kept in your browser’s local storage so you can pick up where you left off. When you finish, the answers of that round and your latest scores stay there, so the result page can open again. It stays on this device: finished results are listed on the result page, and “Forget my results” removes them. None of this is sent to our servers unless you order the paid report. To remove it all, you can also clear this site’s data in your browser.

Your result

Your twelve scores are written into the address of the result page. Anyone with that link can see them. If you do not share the link, nobody else sees it. Political opinions are sensitive information, so think before you post a result under your own name.

The paid report

What we receive. The test itself stays in your browser. If you order the full report, your answers come to us so that it can be written, with the email address you give and, if you add one, the name for the cover. Your answers reveal your political opinions, so we process them only with the explicit consent you give at the order button (GDPR Article 9(2)(a); LGPD Article 11). We use your email address to deliver what you bought (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).

Who else handles it. Waffo Pancake is the merchant of record: it takes your payment and your card details under its own privacy notice, and we never see them. Other service providers receive your answers and scores to produce the report, but not your email, your name or your payment details. Resend sends the email, and Cloudflare stores the encrypted files.

How long we keep it.

• Your answers and the cover name: encrypted for 180 days after payment, so the report can be rebuilt if something goes wrong, then deleted. Without a payment, they go within 48 hours of you continuing to checkout.
• The PDF: 7 days after it is sent, so you can download it again.
• Your email address: encrypted until the report or a refund notice is sent, at most 48 hours after payment in the normal case.
• An order record without your full email address (order number, payment references, the time and wording of your consent, when the report was sent and downloaded): 180 days, as evidence for refunds and disputes.
• The country of your connection: read once at checkout to see whether the report can be sold there, and not stored.
• Your order numbers in this browser: 7 days, so you can download the report again.
• Deleted records can remain in encrypted backups for up to 15 more days.

What we do not do. Your answers are not used for statistics, advertising or any profile.

Deleting it sooner. Email contact@my12axes.com with your order number and we delete your answers, the cover name and the PDF straight away.

Where. These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States and Asia.

Cookies, analytics and logs

We count page visits with Umami, open-source analytics hosted on our own server in Singapore and reached at stat.my12axes.com. It sets no cookies and does not keep your IP address. It records the page without your result code, the referring site, and your browser, device and rough location.

It also counts a closed list of events, by name alone: starting or finishing a test of 36, 60 or 288 statements, sharing a result, opening a shared result, a script error and, for the paid report, seeing the offer, starting the order, pressing the order button, reaching the payment page and opening the page after payment. It never receives your answers, your scores or your result.

The site runs on Cloudflare, which keeps short-lived technical logs such as IP address and time of request, for security.

No ads, no sale of data

The site shows no ads and does not sell data.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR and Brazil’s LGPD give you rights to access, correct or delete personal data. Unless you order the report, we hold no account or answer data about you, and you can clear what is in your browser at any time. For anything else, write to contact@my12axes.com.

Children

The site is not aimed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page.
